James Spruill, LMSW

James Spruill is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) with experience working with teens, adults, couples, and families. James creates a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their life experiences and process unresolved conflict in their lives. He collaborates with his clients to deepen their understanding of how their mind, body, and relationships can be utilized to alleviate emotional distress and create long-lasting changes in their lives.

James uses an integrative approach that incorporates various useful models and theories such as Relational Psychodynamic Theory, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. James works with individuals experiencing a variety of challenges related to interpersonal relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, grief, and life transitions.
